About the role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and inquisitive generalist to join our team with the pivotal role of Business Support and Events Manager.
The role offers opportunities to work with all members of the company, partnering with them to deliver high quality events, manage projects and tender processes, build internal processes and generally be the glue which sticks the team together. You will be someone who others turn to for help, and enjoy problem-solving and improving processes.
What the role entails
Business Support
- Develop and maintain internal training, including scheduling monthly Lunch and Learn sessions
- Support development of new company policies
- Overseeing interns and work experience placements
- First line IT administration and support
- Ensure company compliance with H&S, environmental, GDPR and HR legislation by flagging risks to senior management and recommending new or amended processes
- Support the project teams with administrative tasks
- Administer the People Portal
- Ensure efficient and tidy filing and document management
Marketing and Events
- Project manage events of all sizes and scopes
- Coordinate client dinners
- Coordinate Cratus teams as we organise the company’s presence at major industry events such as UKREiiF, LGA and Party Conferences.
- Assist with creating social media posts
- Manage event collateral
- Create and send marketing emails via HubSpot
Tenders and Bids
- Project manage Tender and Bid preparation
- Input into bid responses
- Oversee the company’s registration on tender portals and frameworks

While we offer flexible and hybrid working, the successful candidate will need to be available to travel within London to meet with clients and may occasionally be asked to travel outside of London to support other projects as needed.
