Chris Hossack joins Cratus

We are pleased to confirm the appointment of Chris Hossack who has joined Cratus’ Public Affairs Team as an Associate Director.

Having been a Councillor since 2003, Chris became the Leader of Brentwood Council in 2019. Since then he has delivered a new corporate plan for the organisation, restructured the senior leadership team, overseen the submission of the Council’s Local Development Plan, and ventures with development and leisure partners as part of an ambitious regeneration plan for the Borough.

He will be working for Cratus part-time on projects outside of the Essex area, where he is Vice-Chair of the Association of South Essex Local Authorities and also a member of the Thames Estuary Growth Board.

In addition to his significant experience within local government, Chris also has a strong background in business management, development and consultancy, having held positions in the automotive sector with companies including; Ford Motor Company, VW UK, Jardine Motor Group and CDK Global.
