Commercial Development succeeds in Harrow

Cratus Communications has secured success for a commercial development in the London Borough of Harrow following a lengthy consultation process.

Despite determined resistance to the scheme from a hard-core of residents opposed to any commercial development on site who opposed the scheme with the support of a local councillor the proposals were met with approval at the July meeting of Harrow Planning Committee.

The proposals known as Headstone Drive underwent a number of significant community responsive changes to better reflect community wishes and the application was rewarded with a drop in resident objections and committee success.
