The New UK Property Event for a Zero Carbon Future

Cratus is delighted to be a supporter of FOOTPRINT+ , a new event for the UK property community that will bring together industry leaders from all sectors of the property market and local authorities from all over the UK.

FOOTPRINT+ is taking place in Brighton this June and will be a forum to discuss solutions to achieve a Net Zero future, form collaborative relationships and meet new partners.

The conference, already attracting over 600 attendees, is an intrinsic part of the event – you can see the breadth of initiatives and calibre of signed up speakers here. The delegates will be developers, investors and finance and design consultants, together with all parties involved with procuring or managing built assets including UK council regeneration teams.

Of key interest to local authorities will be direct first-hand experience of those who have:

• assessed the carbon emissions that they are directly responsible for and who have developed a Net Zero business case;
• assessed the carbon emissions that they are indirectly responsible for ie. commercial buildings and residential accommodation in various tenures;
• proposed methods of working with key businesses in local authority areas to identify and means of tracking progress against carbon emission targets and allowances;
• engaged with major residential providers and private residents on the practical steps that can be taken to reduce carbon from existing and future housing.

We strongly believe that FOOTPRINT+ can help local authorities on this complicated journey and encouragingly there are many specialists who are willing to share experience and practical knowledge of initiatives that have a tangible effect on built environment emissions.
