We are delighted to announce that Cratus will now operate out of two South West bases: Bristol and Southampton. “Opening these new offices allows us to really immerse ourselves in the geographical areas we serve,” explains Cratus CEO Nick Kilby.
“Although we have previously provided services in this area to many of our national clients, this move shows the depth of our commitment to being the ‘eyes and ears’ on the ground in the South West, acknowledging the huge amount of development activity being carried out here and the need for services such as ours to create and maintain meaningful dialogues between local authorities, developers and communities.”
The Bristol team, based on Park Street will strengthen Cratus’s presence in the West of England and expand activities throughout the city and the rest of the Westcountry:
“Although we already offered political engagement, community consultation and strategic advice to the South West region (alongside London and the Home Counties), we feel that expanding in this way improves our offering and adds value. We recognise that Bristol, in particular, is a fairly independent hub of development-related activities and a central base in the city is essential to providing our clients with our best services for this region,”
explains Bristol and Westcountry Director, Jo Reeves.
Marlies Koutstaal, Director of Cratus Southampton, added:
“Southampton is the beating heart of the wider Solent area and we are delighted to now have a base here. We are better placed than ever to support our clients in the property and energy industries, delivering high-quality services that make a real difference in building constructive relationships between the private sector, local government and the communities they serve. Adding value in this way is what we do best and we look forward to scaling up, sharing our expertise with more clients and working on more exciting projects.”
We pride ourself on our connections and experience with local government and ensuring effective communication between all parties with the ultimate aim of ensuring efficient, delivery of much-needed, quality development and infrastructure.
The teams in Bristol and Southampton will cover all three Cratus disciplines: planning communications, local government strategic communications and the new pioneering Communities arm, which focuses on the construction phase and beyond.
“We intend to be full and active participants in the political and public sector life in Bristol, Southampton and the wider, surrounding regions,”
