Cratus is delighted to have been awarded a place as part of fabrik’s team on Homes England’s new Development and Regeneration Technical Services (DaRTS) framework, which runs from 2023 to 2027.
The fabrik team is one of ten selected for the new Lot 2 Placemaking, Masterplanning and Design Services Panel. The DaRTS framework replaces the existing multidisciplinary technical services framework, which expired earlier this year.
Through the introduction of the Placemaking Panel, Homes England aims to create the conditions to build the right teams to help deliver excellent, high quality and sustainable places. The services to be provided include masterplanning, architecture, landscape architecture, ecology, planning and stakeholder and community engagement. We are delighted to be working alongside Frazer Halls Associates, Kanda Consulting, Luken Beck, Marengo Communications, RM_A Architects, Vincent & Gorbing, Woolf Bond and WSP on the fabrik team.
The framework will be used by Homes England and also be made available to other public bodies as part of Homes England’s enabling role, which includes central government departments and their arm’s length bodies and agencies, non-departmental public bodies, NHS bodies, local authorities, registered providers, health, police, fire and rescue, education, and charities and devolved administrations.
Superseding the former Homes and Communities Agency, Homes England was founded in 2018 as non-departmental public body to fund new affordable housing in England. The organisation is responsible for significant land holdings across the country.
fabrik were sub-consultants on the previous framework, working on flagship Homes England schemes, including a 865-home scheme at Panshanger, Welwyn Garden City (pictured), and a 5,000-home Garden Village at Heathlands, Kent.
