We all know that an essential plank in improving on the performance of local government is a disciplined and respectful partnership between officers and members. I hope my experience as a leader for over a decade, dealing with cross party teams of councillors, will provide a valuable service for councils and private sector companies alike.’

CEO Nick Kilby added this, ‘I’m excited to welcome Stephen to the company. Stephen is a quintessential council leader that has been a shining example for everyone in the sector, and we are thrilled to have him onboard.’
