Cratus were delighted that a long-standing planning application for the regeneration of a famous area of the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare gained unanimous planning consent at a recent meeting of the North Somerset District Council.
This scheme has been designed by Conran Partners (architects) for CNM estates led by Wahid Samady. Wahid said after the meeting that he was ‘delighted’ that the scheme had gone through with such widespread support from Councillors and the public.
Nick Kilby, the Cratus Director who led the work on this scheme said:
This was a perfect example of how you need to engage communities and Councillors with the proposals from the earliest stage of their development. We joined the development team in 2009 and this is the successful culmination of extensive engagement, working closely with Conran & Partners and Pad Planning, we were able to help the Councillors understand the wider implications a successful scheme might have for Weston-super-Mare.
