Planning for the future – what are the implications for retirement and supported living?

09.10.20

On 29th September, Cratus was delighted to be joined by a panel of experts to debate the impact of planning reforms on the retirement and supported living sectors. Chaired by Cratus Senior Associate and former Chief Planner, Steve Quartermain, the panel included:

  • Andy von Bradsky – Head of Architecture at MHCLG
  • Jeremy Porteus – Chief Executive at Housing LIN
  • Anne-Marie Nicholson – Partner at PRP Architects
  • Mark Curry – Director of Development & Planning at Elysian Residences

This in-depth discussion explored the key opportunities and challenges that the planning white paper offers the sector. And with the number of people needing specialist housing set to soar, the panel debated the key role that planning must play in delivering desirable, comfortable, and sustainable homes in the future.

This event was just the first of a series of activities that Cratus will be hosting to inform and support our clients and partners interested in the retirement and supported living sector. If you would like to find out more about working with us please contact Julian Seymour.
