In July the Cratus team helped achieve planning permission for 2 housing projects in the borough of Basingstoke & Deane in Hampshire. One saw a reserved matters application approved for 48 homes in Oakley; the other was for 90 dwellings in Whitchurch.
Cratus engaged with the Parish and Town Council as well as local residents to ensure all questions were answered and issues were addressed where possible. Our brief also included political engagement with the Council Leadership and the relevant Ward Members. Committee preparations comprised the production, design – by our in-house agency Rubber Duckiee – and distribution of a comprehensive Members’ Briefing, as well as speech writing and Committee Member follow ups. Both applications were approved unanimously.
