For this latest episode of ‘What Has The Environment Ever Done For Us’, Nick Kilby (Cratus) and Vikki Slade (Leader of BCP Council) are joined by Chris Cowcher, who is Head of Policy and Communications at Plunkett Foundation.

Plunkett Foundation is a UK charity that supports people to set up and run a wide range of businesses which are owned by local communities, where members have equal and democratic control. Plunkett represents over 750 community-owned businesses in rural and urban areas throughout the UK, from shops and pubs through to woodlands, farms and fisheries.

During this insightful conversation, Chris talks to Nick and Vikki about the growing importance of supporting local produce, the role of volunteers within the community business sector and much more.
