Charlotte works across the PR, Advisory and Public Affairs Team at Cratus after spending 18 months in the planning team. Working with private sector clients and councils to engage with governments and build relationships at a local or national level, run national campaigns and summit events and engage with local residents are stakeholders.
Charlotte manages a range of accounts and oversaw the running the London Borough of Hounslow’s National Campaign and Summit for an Aviation Communities Fund. Charlotte assisted in the placing of comment pieces in the National Media, secured cross party representation at the Summit and ran a social media campaign.
Charlotte’s advisory clients include both large unitary authorities and district councils across the UK. Sensitively reviewing and assisting to implement changes in governance, process and culture of these organisations this is something that she finds very rewarding. Working with Cratus’ associates she is able to advise on political management, the running of committees and team structures.
Charlotte still dabbles in planning and community consultation and has worked to secure University support and planning consent for student accommodation schemes in Manchester.
Charlotte was nominated by her colleagues for the PRCA Rising Star award and won in July 2020. Prior to her time at Cratus Charlotte worked at Fortnum and Mason and studied at Newcastle University.
