Cian is an Account Executive within the Planning Communications Team. He has worked in communications and media across a range of sectors, including the European Parliament and international development.

Prior to his role in planning communications, Cian’s background is in media, politics and economics, having worked as a Schuman Trainee in media in the European Parliament and as a Communications Assistant in the Gates-funded International Centre for Tax and Development (ICTD).
Cian studied the effects of whether new supply of housing would increase GDP in Dublin with a MSc in Development Economics from University of Kent, and before that a BA International Economics & German from University College Dublin.
Since March 2020, Cian founded and leads the campaign for bilingual Irish and English language consumer packaging and labelling in Ireland. This means he wants your Coca-Cola and everything else in the shop to have two languages on it. He has run canvassing tours across the Ireland and debated on radio, leading to bilingual packaging becoming successfully bundled into the platforms of two major parties as well as debated in the Seanad.
Cian is a natural campaigner, with a strong understanding of running campaigns and years of experience in stakeholder engagement and high level negotiations.
