Clare was a London borough of Lambeth councillor from 1990-2014 holding many different roles including Mayor, Cabinet Member, Scrutiny Chair and Health & Wellbeing Board Member. She was active in the cross party Local Government Association from 1998- 2014 on programme Boards and developing councillor recruitment and leadership training programmes.

She is now a Director of Public Policy Projects and will be supporting our work on health and social care.

Clare was appointed an OBE for services to local government, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London.
