Sam specialises in communications and public affairs, and has held in-house, freelance and agency positions across several industries spanning from the built environment to local government.
Sam worked as a political advisor at Milton Keynes City Council where she led on communications and public affairs for the Labour administration. Working closely with the Executive, she helped to write manifestos, produce council plans, conduct briefings, and boost the reputation of the City Council among stakeholders and the wider public.
A journalist by trade, Sam is adept at asking the right questions to simplify and present complex information. She led a large-scale information campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic, working with officials and local authorities while managing a team of reporters.
She is passionate about storytelling, and helping organisations get their message across effectively.
Sam started her career working in PR for a university, before moving into broadcast journalism and freelance communications. She has a first-class degree in Communication, Media and Journalism.
