Marcus brings a wide range of experience within civic participation technology and local government to his role at Cratus. With extensive experience in the UK tech sector, he shares a keen passion for political advocacy and community engagement. He graduated in 2014 with a politics degree from Swansea University.

Before joining Cratus, Marcus was part of the strategic planning team at Harborough District Council, where he supported Parish Councils and Neighbourhood Forums in the development, consultation, and implementation of Neighbourhood Plans.

Earlier in his career, Marcus was one of the first employees at Hello Lamp Post, a civic technology startup that uses on-street community participation tools to help urban planners, developers, and local governments gain genuine insights into community needs and enable better infrastructure and services to be designed.
