Osman Dervish

Associate Director (London Planning)
Throughout his time at Cratus, Osman has worked on planning projects covering a wide range of development projects including estate regeneration, residential, student accommodation, retail, hotel and office schemes across London and the South East.

Osman has worked with well-known house builders and developers including St William, Hill, Countryside, Inland Homes, Rockwell and Tide.

Osman has delivered local community consultation, strategic political engagement and site promotion into Local Plans. Using his extensive knowledge and experience of campaigning and political involvement, he understands that each project will have its own nuances which he can adapt to.

Before joining Cratus, Osman worked at the House of Commons for three years and is currently serving as a local councillor in the London Borough of Havering, giving him a firm understanding of national and local politics.

He was elected to council in 2010 and served in the Cabinet between 2014 and 2022. During this time Osman held the Environment (2016-22) and Planning (2014-16) portfolios. He has also served as a member of the planning committee. This has allowed him to develop a great breadth of knowledge which he applies to his work.
