Osman joined Cratus in July 2016 having worked at the House of Commons for three years in the office of Andrew Rosindell M.P. and is currently serving as a local councillor in the London Borough of Havering giving him a firm understanding of national and local politics.
Throughout his time at Cratus, Osman has worked on planning projects across London and the south east including local community consultation; strategic political engagement and site promotion into Local Plans. Using his extensive knowledge and experience of campaigning and political involvement, he understands that each project will have its own nuances which he can adapt to.
He was elected to council in 2010 and is the Cabinet Member for the Environment, however has previously held the planning portfolio and has also served as a member of the planning committee. This has allowed him to develop a great breadth of knowledge which he applies to his work.
Having been actively involved in politics since the age of fourteen, Osman understands the importance of community campaigning and has been involved with numerous winning election campaigns at both national and local level.
