Constituency Briefing: Corby and East Northamptonshire (Corby)

For our second marginal seat briefing,
we take a look at the Northamptonshire constituency of Corby, which will be renamed Corby and East Northamptonshire.

For Labour to form a majority government, this is a seat that the party will need to take back. The seat is a highly marginal contest between the Tories and Labour, with Labour’s vote strongest in the town of Corby itself, against the solidly Conservative rural areas of East Northamptonshire.

In this report, we review the issues facing the constituents, the candidate likely to win and the post-election future of the region.
