Team Cratus takes on the Public Sector Challenge: Earth, Mynd and Shire

22.06.26 | Written by Peter Banks

On Friday 11 September 2026, members of the Cratus Group team will be heading to Shropshire to take part in the Public Sector Challenge: Earth, Mynd and Shire, joining colleagues, partners and supporters from across the public sector and beyond for a day of challenge, teamwork and fundraising.

Taking part from the team will be Pete, Nicola, Charlotte, Matt, Mona, Nicole, Sami, Sydney and Zhiai. The team will be fundraising together through GiveWheel, helping to raise vital funds for life-saving research, treatment and support.

About the Challenge

This year’s flagship Public Sector Challenge event will take participants through the striking landscapes of Shropshire, with routes ranging from 8.5 miles to 26 miles. Most of Team Cratus will be taking on the full 26-mile route, bringing together colleagues from across the business in support of two hugely important causes: the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK.

Cratus Group has proudly supported the Public Sector Challenge from the very beginning as a partner, with Pete Banks also serving as a Board Member. For the team, the challenge is not only an opportunity to raise money, but also to support an initiative that reflects the values at the heart of Cratus: partnership, public service, resilience and making a positive difference.

Support Team Cratus

The British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK both carry out vital work to improve outcomes for people and families affected by heart disease and cancer. By supporting Team Cratus, every donation will help fund research, care and innovation that can make a lasting difference.

We are proud of everyone taking part and look forward to cheering the team on as they prepare for the challenge.
