Chris specialises in working alongside the Planning team to expand our portfolio of major regeneration projects in London. He also advises clients from across the company and across the private sector on matters pertaining to the built environment and local government.
Before standing down in 2014, Chris led the Royal Borough of Greenwich for 14 years. During this time he led one of London’s most ambitious regeneration agendas, including the Greenwich Peninsula, Royal Arsenal and Kidbrooke Village developments. He also led successful campaigns to secure the delivery of major infrastructure projects, not least the delivery of Crossrail to the Borough.
Chris’s past experience includes time as Chair of the Thames Gateway London Partnership of 10 local authorities in London, as well as time leading on planning and regeneration for London Councils. A former member of the Mayor’s London Housing Board and Local Enterprise Partnership, he led Greenwich to secure Royal Borough status and through the period when it hosted major events in the Olympic Games.
