Our client, one the largest providers of key services to local government in the country was struggling to improve damaged relationships in a key London borough. The client had opportunities to increase their services to the council and residents in the borough through a planned programme of regeneration works largely based on new build developments on brownfield sites. The programme was hampered by the breakdown in trust between the provider and the local council due in large part to historic failings on the part of former employees of the client.
Cratus was engaged to conduct a programme of engagement work to rebuild the relationship. Beginning with a stakeholder analysis to identify the key people with whom to engage, Cratus enacted a plan that has used our unique political network to bridge the gap between the two bodies. The relationship is now strong and trust levels have returned meaning that the client’s plans to grow their business in the borough are back on track.
